Well, it’s been a year since I renewed this domain. As you can see, nothing has happened.  Well, not exactly. Lots have happened. I just haven’t had the time to stop down and do anything with this site. Here’s some highlights:

July 2012 — Capital Q Chinatown DC closed. The landlord bought out Nick’s lease.

Oct 12, 2012 — My mom passed. I think about her and miss her everyday.  I wish i cooked with her more. I need to figure out what to do with dad.  Sell his house, move him somewhere else.

April 12, 2013 — Ginny turned 5.  Goes to St. Peter School in Kindergarten.

Oct 2013 — right around Halloween Louie passed away.  He was really sick. Much sicker than we thought. His cancer came back and blocked his prostates. We took him to the vet and had to leave him there.  I’m still heartbroken about him.  My sweet boy.

Dec 28 2013 – Jan 13 2014 — we were in Sicily, Florence and then Rome. so much food.  so much fun. the experience was unbelievable.  i just finally uploaded 2,000 photos to Dropbox.

Tomorrow, Jan 30, 2014 — we go to Cancun.  All expenses paid trip to Dreams Cancun 4 days from Nick’s beer distributor.

We have been cleaning and fixing up the house to sell this spring.  Sundi sold his house over a weekend. Hopefully our house will go just as quick. Then we move downtown closer to school and then look for a new home. We are trying to sell the two Galveston properties too. Our range here would be $800-850K.
