Probably not. Just put this site up and it’s kind of bland at the moment. So, sorry about that. First time around a brand new WordPress site and figuring out my way around it. Doesn’t look too difficult. I suppose not, since there are so many out there.
So, what am I doing here? Well, I plan on posting about my life — not that it’s all that and a bag of chips — and how it works around food. You see, I love food. I love to read about it, I love to eat it, I love to cook it.
I was raised in a Chinese kitchen with the basis of home cooking. I learned to chop and cut everything with a giant Chinese clever. It took a while to get use to using a chef’s knife. Anyway, I’m particularly interested in how food and cultural works with each other. I’m always watching the Travel Channel, not so much Food Network anymore (too many competition shows).
The other thing I love (other than my first loves, Nick and G) is crocheting and crafting. I’m dying to try this Chan Luu-esque bracelet tutorial I found on Pinterest.
But before that, I must get back to work. Need to pay the bills… later.
